To create elements that make players laugh, I drew heavily from "Stanley's Parable," such as designing a forked path at the beginning of the game (although both paths lead to the same room), as well as using arrow signs that break immersion. Additionally, I designed some props based on game design theories. For example, there is a button in the game that pays homage to the Skinner Box. Each time the player presses it, they receive points (even though the points serve no purpose). There is also a button that allows players to "turn off" the game, which takes them to a fake computer interface when pressed.

To give players a clear objective, I designed a narrator who communicates with the player through text. He will tempt the player with the "ultimate answer to game design" and in the first room, he will apologize to the player for misleading them (as the ultimate answer clearly doesn't exist). As the player returns to the main hall, they will discover another path that leads to the hidden "ultimate answer."
